Judith, (or would this be Judy trying to promote something positive when nobody else legit speaks up on the Gamels behalf?) others have been fooled before not only at this property but at others by the same developer. Upon first impression you may belive the agents are being "professional", but, oh wait, professional or just ACTING professional while flat out lying to buyers before, during, and after the sale of the property. DON'T BE NAIVE AND BELIEVE ANYTHING THE AGENTS TELL YOU HERE....DO YOUR DUE DILLIGENCE AND RESEARCH THIS DEVELOPER AND EVERYTHING THEY TELL YOU!! It would be nice to assume that the agents would work under a certain code of ethics to promote this property but I know first hand that at other of their properties that this is not the case and the agents and developer told MANY MANY lies to the buyers, sometimes coming back later in a very negative way to the buyers.

Eric,
Classless? And I am unprofessional? Harsh words. It's my opinion and also the opinion of many of my buyers. I am glad you are interested, I just don't happen to agree with your opinion of this conversion compared to others in the area. But that's what these forums are for, thanks for expressing yours:)
I understand that they are eliminating the orange paint, it looks as if I wasn't the only one that felt this way.

I have been an agent for a number of years and I live in West Seattle. I have many clients that I have taken to the site. The agents representing the property were professional and the property was a very good value. They had over 20 units priced under 290k. My client is thinking about buying one priced at 239k. The units have granite, marble, fireplace, hardwood, and stainless steal. I thought the finishes were beautiful as did my clients. I dont know why you had a bad experience, but I've been there a few times and found it to be the best place to buy especially with so many options and great prices.

Wow, just when I was beginning to think Seattle was a class act!
Seriously though, too bad the "sales team" felt like they had to resort to lies, treachery, and desperation. I feel that if you have a good product, competitively priced, one needn't resort to such outlandish tactics. There ARE other ways to get noticed. And the garishness? Oh please, have a little self respect, I am so embarrased for them. I won't be traveling to see the Las Vegas wanna be anytime soon, not even if they promise a live showing by Elvis, which, by the way I am surprised they didn't try. DID THEY?????????

Your article has motivated me to visit the place. It is a lot closer than Vegas and an adrenalin rush sometime over the weekend would be a welcome boost.

It might be entertaining to visit this place periodically just to see what kind of clientele it attracts - might be an interesting place to live if you like neighbors with interesting personality profiles and habits. Definitely not an old folks home...

On the serious side of things, I think it would be good for all of us to endure the sales pitch from these folks. It is good to see first hand what lying sales dementia and hype looks like. Ever sat through a time share pitch?

Thanks again for the heads up - this is definitely on my list of entertainment and educational hot spots - and off my list of potential sites in which to invest / live.

Gee, Leann. Tell us how you REALLY feel :-)

It sucks when developers and marketing companies treat agents like this. It makes for a bad impression for everyone involved. Apparently a number of others have had similar experiences. See blog below:
